Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of FitLife, provided by FitLife. By creating an account you agree to them.

1. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older (or have appropriate consent) to use FitLife.

2. Medical disclaimer

FitLife is an informational and tracking tool to support your diabetes management. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Insulin estimates, carbohydrate counts and AI insights are for guidance only. Always confirm doses and treatment decisions with your diabetes care team or a qualified healthcare professional. Never disregard professional medical advice because of something in the app. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

Insulin suggestions are based on the carbohydrate ratio you provide and on DAFNE (Dose Adjustment For Normal Eating) principles. Your insulin sensitivity can change throughout the day and from day to day, so the amount of insulin you actually need can vary even with accurate carbohydrate counting and your usual ratio. Always check your glucose and use your own judgement.

Carbohydrate values produced by photo analysis are an estimate and will not be 100% accurate, as they are gauged from an image. Weighing your food is the most accurate method and should be used whenever possible; photo analysis is provided as a tool to help when weighing is not an option.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for the activity on your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Subscriptions & billing

• Premium is offered on a subscription with a free trial. After the trial it renews automatically at the then-current price until cancelled.
• You can cancel anytime via Settings → Subscription (Stripe Billing Portal); access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Statutory cancellation/refund rights apply where required.

5. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service, attempt to breach its security, or use it to harm others. We may suspend accounts that do.

6. Connected services

You may connect third-party services (e.g. Dexcom, FreeStyle Libre, NHS). Your use of those is also governed by their terms, and you authorise us to access the data you connect.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, FitLife is provided "as is". We are not liable for decisions made in reliance on the app's estimates or insights. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence).

8. Changes & termination

We may update these terms or the service; we'll notify you of material changes. You can stop using FitLife and delete your account at any time.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
